Our Service and Support Agreement is based on the business cycle, wherein we satisfy a comprehensive range of accounting and business services, provide timely consultation as your business or tax situation evolves, and respond to your diverse needs as they arise. This is an ongoing process.

We perform a multitude of less obvious tasks along the way which are necessary to complete the periodic services you expect. The work we do behind the scenes, in conjunction with regular consultation, brings your business out of the past and into a business cycle which functions on a forward-looking basis.

 

Our work in the business cycle begins with an assessment of your records and past bookkeeping practices. We take care of any necessary clean-up, modify processes as needed to establish a sound baseline, and create tools for use forward. Once this baseline is established, we play a continuous role as needs evolve. Some aspects of this role are highly visible and produce periodic services or products (tax returns and payroll reports, for example). Other aspects of this role are less visible and involve work behind the scenes (year-end accounting adjustments, payroll setup, research, compliance issues, documentation, and various other activities). Consultations live somewhere in between, as each consultation serves to inform those more or less obvious aspects of service.
