Staff Accountant
Gus joined Team Feniks in 2023 while immersed in his educational journey at UAF. He finished his Master’s in 2025, and looks to Feniks & Company as a place to stay. He’s from Fairbanks, and loves it here. Gus tends to be modest about his achievements, and values giving active help and support to people on their journeys. He loves people and is known to have strong people skills and is good at building relationships, which makes Feniks & Company a natural fit. He can read a crowd, enjoys good humor, is able to meet and get to know people easily, and values human interaction.

Gus is also a car person: He’s a good mechanic and is very knowledgeable about what's going on under the hood and behind the wheels of many vehicles. He’s an avid gardener as well, which says much about his value of quality life.
I really enjoy working with local businesses. I enjoy the sense of community. In a small town like Fairbanks, a lot of people know each other and I think that helps a lot with the company culture we have at Feniks & Company because it’s a lot about community and it’s a more personal approach to the profession.”
